Whimsy Studios is expanding our team of friendly, all-star teaching artists and bartenders. Whimsy is a local, family-owned Sip, Paint and Party Studio located in the popular Shops at Northfield Mall. We are a busy teaching and entertainment art venue offering a full bar, group painting classes and private parties in a high energy, friendly atmosphere.

About the Job
Our team members start as floor artist/studio assistant/bartender. When we feel you are ready to take the stage, you will guide 2.5 hour, step-by-step group painting classes for up to 52 people. This is no ordinary art class! We are all about entertaining and having fun with guests of all ages and experience levels. Other duties include setting up for classes, clean-up, answering the phone, customer check in and RSVPs, bartending/POS/customer care, and general studio maintenance. There will be opportunities for you to contribute your own paintings/designs to our ever-expanding gallery. We also encourage creative input for our music playlists, theme nights, and drink specials.

We are seeking talented and outgoing artists with the following qualifications:

• Experience with acrylic painting, especially as teaching artist

• Reliable, positive team player who enjoys a high-energy atmosphere and has a keen sense of customer service

• Available on weekends, weekday evenings and holiday weeks. 

• Ideally has diploma or degree in fine arts, art education or art therapy

• Ideally has bartending and customer service experience

• Fast learner, flexible, and friendly 

• 21+ years of age
